Just got back from leave. Had more fun and adventures than I can possibly describe, though I will post at length shortly on my trip to the D-Day landing beaches.
Flew in on a C-17, which is like a luxury liner compared to the C-130. Of course, you're still squeezed in like sardines in seats designed for normal-sized people, not people wearing body armor. And ultimately, you're still cargo.
But hey, I'm here.
