Liberating "Davy"

I got this quarter back in change from the coke machine at the LaCrosse, Wisconsin Airport. It is a Texas quarter. I felt it my patriotic duty as a proud Texan to liberate it from the clutches of the nefarious Yankees heretofore holding it in bondage. I will keep it with me for the entire trip, until we’re both back in Texas where it will be free to roam free in the pure air, bluebonnets and endless expanses of the Lone Star State. Just like all Texas quarters should do. I will name it “Davy.”

:) "davy" huh? I have a nickel named "phillip"....

I was given the link to this by a family member, and I have to say its wonderful to find someone writing about their everyday exploits over there. I have a family member stationed over there, and quite a few friends... its nice to know what going on. You have a very fresh look at things, and the fact that through all that you still have the time to make funny little things like this is wonderful. :)
